Projek vorder goed.

Ons het gister weer ingespring en skoongemaak buite die skoolingang. Ons het nou ook 'n uitdaging aan die sportspanne gemaak om ten minste een middag af te staan aan die skoonmaak projek. Al hoe meer kinders begin belangstel en een van die onderwyseresse het haar Engelse klas na die terrein geneem om met nuwe idees vorendag te kom. Hulle het met lede van die publiek, Hospitaalwerkers en straatverkopers gesels om bewustheid te kweek.

Van ons leerlinge neem deel aan die "President's Award" en het die projek as deel van hul gemeenskapsdiens aangeneem.

Colley Street Clean-up

After months of negotiation with the Hibiscus Coast Municipality, things are starting to take shape.

Port Shepstone High School, where I teach, has its main entrance at the end of Colley Street which runs in front of the Port Shepstone Regional Hospital. It is a narrow street which was never intended for the heavy traffic it currently has to cope with. The hospital also recently added a new wing which also has its entrance on this street.    more info
